You can add taxes and fees on any transaction being processed, directly through the app. ChargeStripe facilitates two options to add the taxes or fees to the final payment amount.

A. Flat Rate: Added directly to the transaction as a flat value

B. Percentage: Customizable percentage value for taxes like sales tax etc.

After adding the taxes, you can view the total value calculated at the bottom of the screen.

These tax settings are active only until you don't sign out of the app. If in case you change your login account or sign out, the tax values are cleared.

To set the taxes permanently, you would need to add the tax values through the app settings. Visit the Settings > Taxes and Fees section on the app, and save the desired values. Once saved, the taxes would continue to work, even if you log out and log back in.

You can also choose to pass the processing fee to your customers. Simply add the fee values via settings and all your transactions would be appreciated automatically.
